This space is an outlet for all the intersecting parts of who I am.  Who I am as a woman, a wife, a mother, a student, an interpreter-in-training, a linguist. It’s about my personal journey of healing, faith, and discovery. Of breaking molds and comfort zones and living life, following dreams, and sludging through the everyday mundane.

I will write a lot about:

American Sign Language because I am attending university to become an interpreter for the Deaf community.

Language because I am a linguist at heart.

Down syndrome because my youngest son has it.

Whole30 because it has changed my life.

Faith because God is the whole point of life.

And I will share everyday stories, struggles, and events as the need to write about them occurs.
